I have noticed there are tons of overpowered people on this server, don't you guys think it is time for a mcMMO reset? I mean it's impossible to get on mctop in any category. You may lose a few players, but the playerbase would build back up. All feedback is welcome. If you disagree to this, please say why. If you agree sate why

Reason why we don't want to do this:

Some people donated money to get those points. We have every right to take them away... but we'd prefer not to, to maintain our playerbase.

But , you are losing new players due to this also. If people have payed for this, why not boost their stats up to 100 , in each category, this will allow more players in, also.

Some people have been asking for a complete Swagger reset. Money, items, levels, the works.

If we were to get enough people to agree with it, maybe Laser would be okay with it... but who knows.

Actually it's not impossible to get mctop in any category but maybe mining because Pogdoo's ridiculous stats.

All you have to do is WOOOORK. What a concept. I had two friends who had 1k archery before it was capped and I know one got it completely legit by sitting in a grinder with a bow and shooting mobs. Idk about the other top archery people, they may have donated or they may have also done it legit.

Yeah, sitting in a grinder sucks, but it works miracles.

While a mcmmo skills reset would be a breath of fresh air too all of the new players, I'm pretty sure it piss off Every. Single. Mcmmo donator, and while Mash is correct in saying that him and laser do reserve the right to do what they feel is better for the server, it would still make many players quit unless theyre up for re-donating. No offense to you skelly but as children say and most players on the server believe " Work is haaaaaaaaaaaaaard."

I would actually prefer the bukkit being a client mod. Sure it will mean the whole server will have to download it and put it into their jar, but that infact will stop any hackers too. They would have to fuse their .jar with hacks with a some files from a bukkit mod. I think that might corrupt the jar, therefore causing the server to finally be somewhat completely legit ^_^

I honestly don't know if it would be possible, but if they were to somehow make bukkit a mod instead of a plugin, it'd probably be relatively easy to from there scan the .jar file for any hack-related mods.

But, I'm not a total expert on how mods and clients interact, so I'm not actually sure that'd even be relatively possible.
