virtual chest glitch? Empty

i just placed almost a double chest of arrows into a virtual chest and when i went to check it they were gone, also i made a chest named obsidian, and a chest named rares, when i put my obisidian into the obsidian chest it ends up being in both the obsidian and rares chest. is this happening to anyone else? also be careful using vitual chests.
